Svelate le nomination, per cinema e tv, ai Golden Globes 2018, con le premiazioni previste il 7 gennaio al Beverly Hilton Hotel. L’anticamera degli Oscar – i Golden Globes sono i premi assegnati ogni anno ai film, alle serie tv e ai loro protagonisti, dall’associazione della stampa estera di Hollywood – si divide in cinema e serie tv, e ad annunciare i nominati al prestigioso riconoscimento sono state tra l’altro Sharon Stone e Kristen Bell. I premi Golden Globes 2018 saranno invece condotti da Seth Meyers al fianco della Globes Ambassador (ex Miss Golden Globes) Simone G Johnson.
C’è anche un po’ di Italia (o meglio, il Jude Law di The Young Pope diretto da Paolo Sorrentino), in corsa ai Golden Globes 2018: tra le serie tv, segnaliamo anche la nomination per Master of None (la cui seconda stagione ha visto nel cast l’italiana Alessandra Mastronardi) e per il revival di Will & Grace, ma anche per le applauditissime The Crown, Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger Things e This is Us. A guidare le nomination complessive, Big Little Lies e Feud.
Sul fronte cinema, da tenere d’occhio Molly’s Game (in nomination anche Jessica Chastain come miglior attrice protagonista), The Shape of Water (miglior sceneggiatura ma anche miglior regista e miglior film drammatico; il film ha il record di nomination insieme a The Post), Hugh Jackman con The Greatest Showman (anche in lizza per miglior film commedia o musicale).
